BOONE, N.C. — Police are still searching for a teen that went missing near Boone on Thursday. 
James Martin Roberts was last seen around 12:30 p.m. near the Appalachian State University Convocation Center wearing a black, short sleeve windbreaker and khaki shorts.
Police have been following leads and tips, but have not been able to locate Martin.
Martin’s parents issued a plea asking him to come home or contact them.
