Troopers: Panthers running back arrested for reckless driving

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Carolina Panthers running back, Cameron Artis-Payne, was arrested early Sunday morning for speeding and careless & reckless driving.Carolina Panthers

North Carolina Highway Patrol said the football star was going 102 mph in a 65 mph zone on I-85 North near Exit 14.

Artis-Payne was taken to Gaston County Jail with a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Troopers said Artis-Payne was cooperative.
