CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating after a person was shot during a possible robbery early Tuesday morning.
CMPD says that the shooting happened during a possible robbery at the 7-Eleven on Brookshire Boulevard near Hovis Road.
The victim was identified as 20-year-old Ronari Galloway who worked as a clerk at the store.
Officials say Galloway was shot in the back during an altercation inside the store. He has non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.
Police are currently working on getting a suspect description.
