UPDATE:
Officials with Salisbury Police Department say they have located John Brooker, 92, who has been missing since Wednesday night.
Around 11:20am Friday officials say someone that had been searching behind homes on Lincolnton Road found Brooker in a culvert. Brooker had fallen in, but was conscience and alert when the person found him.
Mr. Brooker was taken to Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center and is being treated for his injuries.
The Salisbury Police Department thanks everyone for their help in locating him.
SALISBURY, NC — A silver alert has been issued across the state for 92-year-old John Brooker.
Brooker may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
He is described as a black male, 5’7″, 170lbs, bald with hazel eyes. Brooker uses a walking cane and was last seen wearing a Carolina Panthers hat, dark red long sleeve shirt, gray pants, brown sandal on the left foot and a medical boot on the right.
Brooker was last seen on Fries Street at Elm Street headed south toward Jordan Street in Salisbury.
