5 Arrested for 3 Charlotte Burglaries
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have charged five people for their involvement in three Charlotte burglaries.
Charlotte Mecklenburg police have charged Brandon Adams, 16, William Osborne, 19, Derico Misenhaimer, 19, Juran Witherspoon,18, and a 15-year-old Juvenile male, for three residential burglaries.
On Thursday, neighbors reported a breaking and entering in the 5900 block of Monroe Road. Officers responded and apprehended Adams and a 15- year-old juvenile male. Both were arrested and charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Conspiracy to commit Breaking and Entering.
That same day, neighbors reported activity at a home in the 6200 block of Brietling Grove Place. Officers discovered the breaking and entering and after a short foot chase, apprehended Osborne. Osborne was charged with Resisting Public Officer, Felony Breaking and Entering, and Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering
On Friday, a homeowner returned to her residence in the 100 block of Sardis Lane and saw a suspect flee in a vehicle and another suspect flee on foot. A neighbor observed the second suspect and reported his location. Officers arrived and apprehended Misenhaimer, who was in possession of items from the residence. Witherspoon was later located with stolen items, along with a stolen vehicle. They have been charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering.
