CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Mayor Dan Clodfelter was busy on Monday night presiding over his first City Council meeting with a full agenda.

One of the items on the agenda that Council approved was a request from CMPD to use $250,000 to buy body cameras for officers.  The new cameras will replace aging cameras in patrol cars.

Clodfelter served on the City County from 1987 to 1993 representing east Charlotte.
