Arrest Made in Kannapolis Homicide
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Police have made an arrestΒ after finding a man dead in his Kannapolis home on Tuesday.
PoliceΒ were called to 2000 Chris Ann Lane at approximately 9:45 a.m.Β TuesdayΒ morning regarding a death investigation. Upon arrival officers found Arthur Lee βBuddyβ Davis, 79, deceased.
The Kannapolis Police Department obtained warrants on Wednesday for the arrest of David Dover for 1st Degree Murder and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Officials say the two men knew each other well as they were co-workers at a local Kannapolis car dealership.
