Researchers in Canada studied people’s brains while playing video games. Younger players made faster decisions, and scientists say that’s because people under 24 have faster cognitive speed. At a quarter century, those rapid-fire decisions slow down. But it’s not all bad news: scientists say older players use more strategy and shortcuts.
