A slithery situation in Matthews.

A red-tailed boa constrictor was found by two biologists behind a red lobster on Independence Point Parkway. They were taking soil samples in a wooded area.

The snake was taken to Carolina waterfowl rescue. Red-tailed boas are mainly found in Central and South America.
