CHARLOTTE, NC — A Charlotte man will receive the Medal of Honor from President Obama next month. Former Army Sergeant Kyle J. White put his life at risk to save fellow service members during an ambush in Afghanistan in 2007. The Seattle native works as an investment analyst at a bank here in Charlotte. White receives the nation’s highest military honor on May 13.
