CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials say three deputies were assaulted in southeast Charlotte on Monday.
The incident happened just after 2p.m. on Timber Oaks Lane. Deputy Sheriffs from the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve an order when they encountered a man who became combative.
The man was taken into custody and was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated. Three deputies were assaulted. They were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
