MOUNT HOLLY, NC — Police have arrested the person they say shot a 16-year-old in the buttocks Thursday evening.
Adrian Skinner, 21, of Charlotte was arrested for shooting Christopher Randolph, 16, once in the butt on E. Glendale Avenue in Mount Holly.
Randolph was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center and then transferred to CMC where he is said to be in stable condition.
Witnesses told police that Skinner had been driving around for hours trying to find Randolph, and when he did Skinner pulled a gun and began firing.
Investigators located and arrested Skinner with the help of CMPD and charged him with Attempted First Degree Murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
