SHELBY, NC — Police are looking for a suspect(s) in a drive-by shooting that sent one 4-year-old girl to the hospital.
The shooting happened around 11pm Monday on Toms Street in Shelby. Police say two residents in the neighborhood were targets in the shooting.
The 4-year-old girl was shot in the leg as the suspect fired more than 50 rounds into the homes.
The girl was taken to a Charlotte hospital for treatment and her family says she will be alright.
Police are still investigating. So far no arrests have been made.
