17-Year-Old Charged After 2 People Found Dead In Gaston County Home

Police have charged 17-year-old Jose Rios with two counts of First Degree Murder.

Officials say Rios was an acquaintance of Brice.

GASTONIA, NC — Police are investigating after two people were found dead in their home overnight.

Investigators say the bodies of Derreck Brice, 33, and Lashea Coleman, 26, were found inside their home on 265 Salemview Road just after midnight Friday. Family had called police after finding the two inside.
