Troutman Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

TROUTMAN, N.C. – One person was killed and another was injured after a shooting in Troutman Saturday night.

At approximately 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, November 4th, Troutman Police responded to a shopping center at 520 North Main Street. They confirmed that two people were shot at another location off Mills Avenue, but the victims drove to the shopping center.

Officers shortly thereafter located the scene of the shooting off Mills Avenue.

One victim died from their injuries while the second victim was taken to a regional trauma center.

A suspect has not been put into custody yet, but police say there doesn’t appear to a threat to the general public at this time.
