Charlotte Man Indicted For Allegedly Assaulting Two USPS Employees

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Charlotte man was federally indicted Thursday for allegedly assaulting two U.S. Postal Service employees this past summer, the United States Attorney’s Office announced.

The indictment states that Dujuan Marquise McNeil, 38, allegedly used a deadly weapon to assault a USPS employee at work on June 1st, 2023. McNeil also supposedly used a deadly weapon to assault a second USPS employee at work later that same day.

Furthermore on June 14th, McNeil allegedly knowingly possessed multiple firearms, including an assault rifle, despite being previously convicted of a felony and was not allowed to possess one.

McNeil remains in federal custody. He faces multiple charges for assault of a federal employee by means of a dangerous weapon, possession and brandishing of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
