CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Investigators revealed new information in connection to a missing person’s case that was reported in February of this year, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Earl “Guy” Hall, 65, was reported missing to the sheriff’s office on February 11, 2023. His family hasn’t heard or seen him since Christmas of 2022.
Detectives found and recovered Hall’s truck, a white and blue Chevy, during an unrelated investigation in Lincoln County in July of this year. Investigators say the truck was spray painted to hide the identifiable blue stripe.
Police questioned the individuals in possession of the truck, but no charges were filed in connection to Hall’s disappearance.
Detectives are still searching for Hall. Detectives say he lived a reclusive lifestyle and resided in a van parked on his property on Westway Lane, a dirt road, near Gheen Road in Western Roway County.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Detective Amber Weaver at 704-216-8715 or Lieutenant Ryan Barkley at 704-216-8711.
