Mom Leaves Note to ‘Mean Girls’ at Starbucks

CHARLOTTE, NC– A Charlotte mom was at Starbucks when she overheard three girls talking trash about another girl they knew. Michelle Icard was so bothered by what the girls were saying that she got up and left.

Icard posted about her experience on her Facebook page. A friend commented, telling her that she should go back and say something to the girls. She did.

Icard wrote the girls a note telling them she overheard the mean things they said, and told them they sounded petty. She concluded with “it would take nothing for you to be kind.” She ordered the girls another round of Starbucks, gave them the note, and left.
