CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested two men for robbing a woman of her purse in south Charlotte.Β The robbery happened on March 1st.Β
The victim says she was on Queens Road when a man jumped out of a van, demanded her purse, then drove off.Β
Detectives developed information that helped them identify one of the suspects.Β Investigators say Gerald Desmaratte and Deareus Smith have been charged with common law robbery and conspiracy.Β
