EXCERPT: Weather will get very blustery on Sunday as a passing cold front heads this way

SUBTITLE: There is a possibility of severe weather in the Queen City today.

Clouds and showers with some occasional heavy rain will be in the forecast here on Sunday.  A passing cold front will move through our area and possibly produce some severe weather.  Most of the threat would include very gusty winds, and possible tornadoes, especially to our south and east late after midday on Sunday.

Once the cold front passes, we will find much cooler air to start the work week once again, as temperatures dip back down into the 50s for daytime highs. While that is seasonable for this time of the year, we have certainly been spoiled with temperatures above normal for the last few days. Overnight low temperatures will also be colder than normal for a few nights dipping back down into the 20s. We will need to stay weatherwise throughout the day on Sunday as this front passes by.

Sunday: Showers and Storms – Some may be severe. High: 65°. Wind: SW 5-10.

Tonight: Clouds move out Low: 34°. Wind: NW 5-10.

Monday: Becoming Mostly Sunny. High: 49°. Wind: NW 5-10.
