Verizon, Panthers Implement “Express Entry” Option Using Facial Recognition To Enter Bank of America Stadium
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A new partnership between the Carolina Panthers and Verizon allows fans to enter Bank of America Stadium without scanning a ticket or their phones.
This new method, called “Express Entry,” combines facial recognition and ticket scanning to identify and authenticate the ticket holder. With this option, no physical ticket or phone is required to enter Bank of America Stadium. The goal of this innovation is to provide fans with a streamlined way to enter the stadium with less congestion.
This option will be located at the North Silver Club and South Silver Club entrances.
Ticket holders can check in using one of the designed facial ticketing lanes. After being facially scanned, the ticket taker will validate the number of guests in the party before granting access to the stadium.
