CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is investigating an armed robbery that happened Monday morning in Uptown Charlotte.
The robbery happened just after 5am Monday at the intersection of N. Poplar Street and W. 7th Street.
A man told police he was robbed at gunpoint by two unknown suspects. The victim did receive a minor wound to the finger and was taken to Presbyterian Hospital.
Officials say officers are still trying to determine what caused the injury.
