Deputies: Man Stabs Cousin In The Head With Kitchen Knife In Lincoln County Domestic Dispute

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Two people were injured after a domestic disturbance between relatives led to a man stabbing his cousin in the head with a kitchen knife, according to deputies.

On December 19, 2023 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Pug Lane,
Iron Station, NC.

When deputies arrived they observed two individuals in the living room bleeding and needing medical attention. One of the individuals identified as Zachariah Robles told
deputies his cousin, Jimmy Robles, had stabbed him in the head with a kitchen knife.

Jimmy Robles had also been assaulted but told officers the incident occurred in Charlotte, NC. Both men were transported to area medical facilities for treatment. Jimmy Robles was treated and released to deputies. He was served with outstanding warrants and placed in the Harven A Crouse Detention Center under a $5,200 secured bond.

Following an investigation, Sheriff’s detectives charged Jimmy Robles with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury for stabbing his cousin in the head with kitchen knife. Bond for Jimmy Robles was changed to a no bond hold.
