CAMDEN, S.C. β A single-vehicle car crash on US Highway 521 in Kershaw County killed one late Friday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Friday, December 22nd.
Police say a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling north on US Highway 521 near McLeod Road and approximately four miles north of Camden, South Carolina.
The driver traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, according to authorities. Deputies say the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene of the crash as a result of their injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate this collision.
