Concord Park Restroom Damaged In Fire

CONCORD, N.C. – The Concord Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that destroyed a Hartsell Park restroom on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred in Concord at Hartsell Park at 65 Sunderland Road Southwest.

The Concord Fire Department responded to the fire on Saturday, December, 23rd at 1:06 p.m. Fire crews say they saw smoke coming from the building as soon as they arrived. They were able to control the fire in under six minutes, and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
