UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Officials say a man was killed by a tree in a Weddington subdivision Wednesday morning.Β
The man was cutting down brush in the Devonridge Subdivision on Elstead Circle when the accident happened.Β Officials have not released the man’s name at this time.Β
The Union County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.Β
