DAVIDSON, N.C. — Multiple fire departments were on the scene of a house fire on Morrison Hill Road in Davidson.
Officials say the fire started at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Thursday.
Flames tore through the roof and second floor of the home. The family is vacation but has been notified.
Firefighters say lightning is likely to blame for the fire.
