CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for the person they say fatal shot one man and injured a woman in west Charlotte.
The shooting happened around 12am Friday at the intersection of Effingham Rd. and Tuckaseegee Rd.
Police found a man and woman who had been shot. The male victim was pronounced dead on the scene, and the female victim was taken CMC with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim’s names have not yet been released.
Investigators do not believe this was a random shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
