STATESVILLE, N.C. – The Statesville Police Department is conducting an investigation of a robbery at the Food Lion on East Broad Street, according to a news release.
The release states that on January 3, 2023, officers responded to a call from the Food Lion about a robbery. Police say an investigation begun immediately and showed that three unidentified men took an unknown amount of cash from a register and fled the scene in two vehicles.
Further investigation, according to the release, led the police to identifying one of the vehicles from a flock camera and are attempting to obtain a search warrant to conduct a search of the suspect vehicle and residence.
