CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — The Hornets are hoping to get a bounce back year out of big man Roy Hibbert.
Hibbert has agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with the Hornets according to Yahoo Sports. The 7’2” center is a two-time all-star but has fallen considerably from his strong seasons with Indiana. Hibbert averaged 5.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game last season for LA Lakers.
Hibbert and assistant coach Patrick Ewing have a relationship as they both are Georgetown alums in different eras.
