Justice For Joby: Woman Hiring Lawyer
MONROE, N.C. – The Union County Sheriff’s Office tells WCCB Charlotte it’s continuing to look for a law that fits in the case of the horse shot and killed in its own pasture. Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Tony Underwood with the sheriff’s office says they’ve even reached out to the Humane Society for help finding a violation that fits.
Joby, the 23-year-old Quarter horse, was shot and killed in his pasture in Monroe on July fourth by a neighbor’s stray bullet.
While the criminal investigation continues, the woman who owns the horse, Susanne Wright, tells us she is in the process of hiring an attorney for a civil suit.
