Officials say Statesville Road has reopened following Tuesday morning’s 4-alarm fire.

Officials say the fire is under control, but the area could remain closed for several more hours as crews investigate and monitor hotspots.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte Fire Department crews are responding to a 4-alarm fire on Statesville Road just south of Lakeview Road.
The fire is located on 7500 Statesville Road at Wilson Trucking Corporation according to Charlotte Fire Department. Multiple units responding.
Statesville Road has been closed in both directions between Sunset Rd and Lakeview Rd. CMPD is on scene helping assist with traffic.
Officials with Charlotte Fire say as many as five people have been taken to the hospital. Medic says one was treated for life threatening injuries and four with non-life threatening injuries.
