MONROE, NC– Police are asking for assistance to identify a suspect who was responsible for an attempted armed robbery.
Authorities say on July4th, officers were advised that a suspect had attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint while she was at an ATM.
Before receiving any property, the suspect reportedly fled the scene in a blue Dodge Avenger.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 5’6″ with a medium build.
He was last scene wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, white gloves and a black doo-rag.
