Six Injured After North Charlotte Explosion

CHARLOTTE, NC– Six people are hurt after an explosion at a trucking company early Wednesday morning.

The explosion started on the loading docks at Wilson Trucking and quickly spread to the warehouse and trucks.  Five workers were rushed to the hospital. One was treated on scene.

“We heard a loud explosion and when I backed up and turned around you seen the smoke and flames coming through the building and see everybody running to try and save their own lives,” said Concord resident Tony Caldwell.

Investigators are working to determine what sparked the flames.
