[UPDATE]
According to the San Diego Police Department’s Twitter page, the second officer that was shot has come out of surgery. Officials say he is expected to survive.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Officials are advising residents to stay inside as they search for the suspects that killed one police officer and injured another in the 3800 Boston Avenue area.
Police say one suspect has been taken into custody, but there could be more. Police are searching the surrounding areas and advise everyone to stay inside.
According to the San Diego Police Department, one officer has been pronounced dead and another remains in surgery.
