10-Year-Old Burned In Accidental House Fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A 10-year-old child was burned in an accidental house fire on Friday night, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to a residence on Spring Laurel Drive near Albemarle Road at 9:29 p.m. on Friday, January 12th.

A small fire occurred in a bathroom, and a 10 year old was burned from using a lighter.

No other injuries were reported, and the fire was deemed to be accidental.

CFD did not disclose the child’s status at this time.
