Two Men Accused Of Stealing Car With Dog Inside
ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are looking for two men accused of stealing a vehicle that was left running in front of a store with a dog inside.
Investigators say a woman stopped at the Dollar General Store off Highway 127 in Bethlehem around 6pm on Wednesday.
The woman parked her car in front of the store and left the engine running because her Shih Tzu dog was left inside.
Two men entered the store and then quickly left the store and reportedly jumped in the vehicle and drove away.
The men are described as two white males in their mid 20’s with slim build. The stolen vehicle was a black 2009 Nissan Cube.
