Hazmat Situation Closes Ashby Drive In Davidson

Officials say the leak has been capped.

DAVIDSON, NC — Hazmat crews are on the scene of a natural gas leak on Ashby Drive off of Concord Road.

The incident was reported early Wednesday morning when neighbors reported smelling a strong gas odor. The road has been closed while crews work to repair the leak.
