EXCLUSIVE: Images of Passenger Being Removed After Bomb Threat On Plane At Charlotte-Douglas International Airport

UPDATE: The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office arrest records show 54-year-old Jerry Manyette of Minnesota was arrested on one charge of making a false bomb report. He was given a $75,000 bond.
CHARLOTTE – According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, a suspect was arrested after making a bomb threat while on a flight at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on Tuesday.
The photos above show the man who made the threat being put into a police car after being removed from the plane. The second image shows officers speaking with a woman, who the passenger tells us was the man’s wife.
The threat happened around 3 PM. According to a passenger on that flight, the plane was heading to Miami from Charlotte.
CMPD says the passenger they arrested made the threat on board the plane prior to take-off.
Police say the person who made the threat was removed from the plane and arrested.
CMPD’s bomb unit swept the plane found the threat was not credible.
