Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools has released additional information about the bus crash that occurred on Old Statesville Road. According to the statement, the driver of bus number 1967 was in a minor single vehicle accident after suffering a medical emergency.
Twenty-two students were aboard the bus from Croft Community School. Four students are being evaluated but no students were transported by MEDIC.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Five injuries have been reported in a school bus crash on Old Statesville Road, according to CMPD.
No transports have been yet. Medic and Police are on scene.
