CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is in custody after an apartment in east Charlotte was intentionally set on fire, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
The fire occurred on Magnolia Hill Drive near Eastway Drive at 11:47 p.m. on Saturday, January 26th. The suspect was apprehended at the scene.
CFD determined that the fire was intentionally set and no injuries were reported.
An estimated $127,000 was lost in the fire.
The fire is still under investigation.
