Gag Order Issued In Jordyn Dumont Case

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A gag order has been issued in the murder case of three-year-old Jordyn Dumont.  Police charged William ‘Billy’ McCullen with first degree murder in the case.  McCullen is the boyfriend of Dumont’s mother.

The gag order, which was filed on Wednesday, states that no employee, supervisor or director of the Gaston County Department of Social Service, the Gaston County Police Department and the State Bureau of Investigation shall divulge any information about the investigation or the facts and circumstances surrounding the defendant’s charge of First Degree Murder.

Dumont was reported missing on August 15th.  Her remains were found the next day in a wooded area.
