Suspects Wanted In Boone Gun Store Theft

BOONE, NC — Boone Police are looking for two suspects they say stole multiple handguns and ammunition from a gun store Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3:30pm at the Wildlife Unlimited on Old 421 South. Investigators say two men in their late teens to early 20’s distracted employees, and then stole two Sig Sauer P938 9mm Semi-Automatic handguns and 9mm ammunition out of a display case.

The suspects and their vehicle were captured on surveillance. Investigators say the vehicle may be a Land Rover SUV.
