Sunny Skies, Cooler Days Are Here
Let the cool down begin. Temperatures will return to normal with some sun.
Mid week rain changes return, but won’t amount to much.
It’s nice to see the sun for a day or so! Our highs will be back in the Low 50s and that is normal for this time of the year. Expect lows to dip below freezing across the board for the first time in a week tonight. The winds will calm and shift in a more southerly direction by the second day of the workweek, setting us up for a beautiful day with highs in the 40s and 50s. Rain chances ascend once again overnight Tuesday into Wednesday but should clear out by our Hump Day afternoon.
Sunshine will be in view as we cross into the first few days of February. Temperatures will rise close to 60° around the Metro as we close out the workweek on Friday. A dry cold front will clip the Carolinas by the first weekend of the new month, but temperatures won’t dip too much. Highs will return to near-average values in the 40s and 50s to go along with plentiful sunshine this coming Saturday and Sunday. Still no Piedmont snow in sight!
