CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several students were injured in a school bus accident that happened in west Charlotte Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at Tuckaseegee Road and Calton Lane just after 7am.
CMS officials say school bus number C629 was transporting students to West Mecklenburg High School when it was involved in an accident with another vehicle. The school district says out of an abundance of caution, nine patients were taken to local hospitals. All injuries were minor, according to MEDIC.
The remaining students were taken to school on the bus involved in the accident, according to officials.
