Taylor Unell was found dead in Virginia on January 30, 2024, according to a news release. The release states she was found deceased in her vehicle at a rest area near I-77 just past the North Carolina line. The investigation is ongoing.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.
On January 29, 2024, Taylor Unell, 31, was reported missing to the deputies by her mother, according to a news release. The release states that Unell was last seen on January 29, 2024 at 7:25 a.m. by her boyfriend.

The report describes Unell as five feet and three inches, blue eyes and blond hair and was last seen wearing a Mr. Sparky t-shirt with a dark jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. Deputies claim Unell was operating her 2004 silver Chevrolet Impala with a dent near the headlight on the driver’s side and has an unknown Virginia license plate number.
