Amazon Launches A.I. Shopping Assistant “Rufus”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Amazon shoppers can now get some artificial help.

The e-commerce giant has launched a new A.I. shopping assistant, and it’s named “Rufus.”

The company CEO says it will let customers “discover items in a very different way.”

Rufus is currently available to some Amazon customers. More consumers will be able to use the A.I. tool over the next few weeks.

Amazon also reported revenue of $170 billion dollars for the previous quarter that ended in December. That marks a 14% increase compared to the same time frame the year before.
