The Temperatures Will Turn Warmer Soon And The Clouds Will Move In Too
More rain is in the forecast by the weekend
Enjoy the blue skies while they last! Rain chances return by the weekend
Despite plentiful sunshine over the next few days, highs will only get into near-average territory thanks to stiff breezes from the northeast.
Our temperatures eventually warm into the 60s by Thursday and then clouds will build into the Carolinas. Look for a few showers to build in for the weekend.
Despite grayer skies by Friday’s end, much of the WCCB Charlotte viewing area should remain dry through your final commute of the week. Scattered showers arrive by Saturday evening as an area of low pressure treks over the Appalachian Mountains. Off-and-on rain will linger through Sunday morning before some clearing by the afternoon and evening. Unfortunately, the reprieve from the rain won’t last long; another rainmaking system will slide in from the southwest by Tuesday. Rain totals through the weekend don’t look particularly impressive – likely under an inch across the board – but next week’s system may be more significant.
