53-Year-Old Charged For Possessing Stolen Motor Vehicle

BOONE, N.C. – The Boone Police Department have charged a 53-year-old Charlotte man with possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

On Tuesday, February 6th, officers located a stolen 2003 blue Honda CRV entering Boone on Blowing Rock Road. Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle that was stolen from Charlotte, North Carolina.

The driver was identified as 53-year-old Franklin Roosevelt Chisholm, of Charlotte. He was arrested without incident, according to a news release.

Chisholm was charged with felonious possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He is currently being held at the Watauga County Detention Center with a $10,000 bond.
