Two Dead, One Injured In Wrong-Way Driver Crash On US 321

WINNSBORO, S.C. – Two people were killed and one was taken to the hospital in a late Saturday night crash involving a wrong-way driver on US 321 business, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Authorities said the crash occurred around 10:52 p.m on Saturday, February 10th.

Police said a 2011 Nissan sedan was heading the wrong way, traveling west in the east-bound lanes on US 321 business. It collided with a 2020 Toyota sedan traveling north on US 321.

The driver and passenger of the Nissan vehicle died as a result of the crash. The Toyota driver was the sole occupant and was transported to a local hospital for their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
